Commercial Account Manager - HVAC/Refrigeration
About The Position
Duncan Supply Company, Inc. is a family-owned organization and an industry leader in distributing refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, and food service equipment and supplies. We are seeking a Commercial Account Manager in Columbus, Ohio, to develop and maintain customer relationships, educate customers on products and programs, and find and develop new account opportunities. This position focuses on working with contractors in the commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and food service markets and will play a key role in building the Columbus market. Requirements
- Three years sales or industry experience
- US work authorization
- Valid Driver license with safe driving record
- Skill set weighted in commercial refrigeration equipment sales
- Bias for proactive action and/or significant existing relationships in the commercial refrigeration contractor channel
- Works well in a team environment
- Communicates well both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and commitment to excellence
- Able to develop a working understanding of products and programs offered by Duncan Supply and vendors
- Demonstrates an acute attention to detail
- Understands how to manage priorities and workflows
- Proven ability to complete tasks from start to finish
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains customer relationships that generate sales opportunities.
- Educates customers on products and programs Duncan Supply offers.
- Finds and develops new account opportunities selling customers on Duncan Supply products and value-added services.
- Works with contractors in the commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and food service markets.
- Helps to build the Columbus market.
- Expands market share in assigned market.
