About The Position

The Commercial Account Manager (CAM) is primarily responsible for selling commercial pest management services to a diverse portfolio of business verticals within an assigned geographic territory. This is an outside sales position that involves working with inbound leads, prospecting, and developing new leads to expand the commercial book of business. The role requires on-site inspections for pest control needs, developing customized pest control agreements, and achieving monthly and annual sales goals. The CAM will utilize Salesforce for timely and accurate reporting of sales activities and will be responsible for providing necessary information to Service Centers for service rendering. The company, Anticimex, is an international pest control company focused on creating safe and healthy indoor environments through inspections, guarantees, and insurance agreements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Have or be able to learn practical and technical knowledge of duties, functions, service, and product offerings, terminology, work procedures, systems, and company policies
  • Have excellent telephone and organizational skills
  • Be able to work in a team-based environment
  • Have strong oral, computer, word processing, and typing skills
  • Requires constant contact with clients and Service Teams
  • May require extensive time working in an office environment
  • May be permitted to work remotely from approved non-work environment location
  • Work hours may include occasional non-traditional work hours to meet deadlines
  • Requires use of office equipment such as fax, copier, computer, headset, and phone
  • May require travel to branch office locations, off-site meetings and/or trainings with exposure to all weather and road conditions

Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibility for selling commercial services to a diversified portfolio of business verticals
  • Work inbound leads
  • Prospect and develop new leads to grow their commercial book of business
  • Inspect for pest control needs
  • Develop customized pest control agreements
  • Expand the Modern Pest footprint within their geographic territory
  • Responsible for sales goals and regular activity attainment
  • Grow the number of commercial clients in a defined sales territory
  • On-site inspection and assessment of pest control needs
  • Sell Modern's commercial pest management service programs to commercial, institutional, industrial, and municipal facilities
  • Generate leads from advertising and passive referrals in addition to developing new clients within a sales territory
  • Be responsible for timely and accurate reporting utilizing our tracking system, Salesforce
  • Provide timely and accurate information and paperwork to the appropriate Service Center for rendering services sold
  • Operate and maintain an assigned vehicle in accordance with all motor vehicle laws, company policies and manufacturer's recommendations
  • Attain a monthly sales goals as outlined by the Commercial Sales Manager (after introductory period)
  • Attain and exceed annual sales goals (after probationary period)

Benefits

  • Special compensation during the 60-day training period (flat salary of 150% of normal weekly base salary for the first 30 days, 125% for the final 30 days)
  • Commissions payable while earning transitional wages during the probationary period
  • Fixed base salary commensurate with their corresponding Service Center (post-introductory period)
  • Commission percentages based upon the type of service sold, paid monthly (post-introductory period)
  • Quarterly bonus for account retention
  • Quarterly bonus for referrals and recommendations from commercial clients (direct contact referrals, public-facing reviews, or written recommendations)
