Leidos is in search of a Command Support Staff Knowledge Specialist to support Headquarters, Air Combat Command at Joint-Base Langley Eustis in Hampton, VA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in direct support of ACC’s Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance mission. The selected candidate will establish performance standards and expectations, deliver meaningful feedback on how well rated Airmen are meeting those expectations, and provide guidance to help them excel. You will contribute essential insight for developing skills, strengthening leadership abilities, and identifying top personnel for advancement through assignments, promotions, and other key management decisions. As part of the ACC A2 Support Staff, your mission will include tracking, reviewing, editing, and overseeing Enlisted Performance Reports, Decorations, and Award packages. You will ensure talent management systems are coordinated with integrity and fairness—providing Airmen with realistic, constructive feedback that supports continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Must possess a current DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance single-scope background investigation. TS with SCI eligibility accepted.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience or AAS and 10 years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Knowledge of AFI 36-2406
  • Served as Section/Flight Chief
  • Previous Air Force writing experience.
  • Excellent presentation skills, organization skills, analytic skills, problem solving ability, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Track EPRs, Decs, and 1206s
  • Ensure adherence to AFI 36-2406, Officer and Enlisted Evaluations System
  • Review reports for readability, grammar, and proper format
  • Assess quality of reports and award documents
  • Ensure timely completion of all reports
  • Coordinate with Commander Support Staff across subordinate units regarding the Evaluation System
