About The Position

A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable to achieve their mission, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That’s why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to craft the exact network the DoD needs. As a network engineer on our team, you’ll work with the DoD to design, build, and transform existing solutions into a reliable network to support critical missions, our national defense. You’ll collaborate with SMEs, customers, users, and stakeholders to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. You’ll then share your expertise during the planning of acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms, to supporting the acquisition of hardware, you’ll put your hardware and software talents to good use. This is your chance to share your experience with DoD Air and Missile Defense systems, while broadening your network engineering work. Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a multi-domain Command and Control (C2) Solution Architect and delivering large-scale C2 solutions to clients
  • Experience with Multi-Domain C2 operations either as active-duty military or military civilian personnel
  • Experience with Military or Intelligence Community compartmented or sensitive activities and planning process, including MDMP, JOPES, or APEX
  • Experience working on Joint Staff or OSD requirements
  • Experience defining, designing, developing, and Fielding C2 solutions
  • Knowledge of Engagement Assessment Techniques, including Integrated Effects and Integrated Assessment
  • Knowledge of associated C2 systems including GCCS-J
  • Knowledge of TBMCS, IBCS, and AOC, Theater Level ISR including Multi-Int Correlation & Fusion, Communications Systems including SATCOM, Tactical Data Links, and IP Based communications including Wide Area and Local Area Networking, National-to-Tactical Systems relationships, access and use of Data-at-Rest and In-motion
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience working at Combatant Command level
  • Knowledge of the systems engineering management process and its implementation, as applied to the DoD acquisition processes throughout all life cycle phases
  • Knowledge of DoD policies on systems engineering, integrated product and process development (IPPD), and integrated product team (IPT) management
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Data-as-a-Service (DaaS), ISR as-a-Service, Cross Domain implementation, Cloud implementations including Enterprise-Public, Private, Hybrid, and on-prem instances, and Applications and Systems Security Assessment & Authorization environments
