The Command and Control (C2) Systems Administrator reports to and receives work direction derivatives from the MSTP Project Manager. This role involves collaborating with military and contractor counterparts in designing Information Management Plans for training exercises within a Joint or Combined Task Force environment. The administrator will identify Information Exchange Requirements, develop Information Management Plans, and operate, maintain, and administer C2 communications and IT systems. They will also plan and develop policy for collaborative tools, author relevant documentation, and collaborate with security managers and foreign disclosure officers. Additionally, the role supports exercise planning, systems training, and the execution of Information Management Plans. A strong understanding of Marine Corps and joint/combined planning processes, doctrine, and Information Management is essential. The position requires preparing reports, participating in reviews, creating and editing documents, attending conferences, and potentially working extended hours for 24-hour operations during events. The administrator may also assume the role of an event OTC and provide inputs for After Action Reviews. A key responsibility includes reviewing, revising, writing, and commenting on doctrine documents and best practices.
