The Relationship Manager is accountable for driving the profitability, quality, and growth of their portfolio, negotiating terms of lending agreements, preparing credit approval packages, and ensuring the bank has current financial information and proper analysis on file. Additionally, this role bears responsibility for the loan closing process, ensuring legal documents reflect agreed-upon terms and that all required documentation and signatures are in place for proper loan closing.
