This position provides maintenance, including spark plug and/or oil changes, minor repairs, and electrical troubleshooting, as needed on rental, company, and customer-owned oil & gas production equipment such as open flare controls, ECD’s, Burner Management systems, Vapor Recovery Units, and other rotary equipment. The technician will assist other team members with repairs, troubleshooting, and start-ups as needed. The job requires overtime hours and occasional travel with some out-of-town stays. This role supports a philosophy of zero accidents by following all applicable safety procedures and maintaining equipment to operate in the safest way possible. Combustor/Flare Maintenance Technicians perform tasks while on a manlift at heights between 20’–50’. They are responsible for maintenance, inspections, repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and cleaning of oil & gas production equipment located on customer sites, and assist the Field Service team as needed with equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and start-ups. The role requires adherence to company policies and procedures, maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude, and flexibility to work hours necessary to meet customer requirements. It also involves completing timecards, field tickets, and material transfers with accurate information and turned in timely, performing quality work to ensure customer satisfaction, maintaining the Company truck and ensuring all required maintenance is performed, and completing all job-related safety documentation to ensure the job is completed in a safe manner. This role requires a responsible, self-motivated individual who works with little supervision.
