About The Position

Combo Bartenders work under the direction of F&B Management while providing friendly, attentive, and timely service to create an exceptional experience for all our guests. Each bartender’s primary objective is to show our guests quality service with properly executed craft cocktails.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to complete the knowledge and skills assessment
  • Working knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms
  • Maintain a professional, neat, well-groomed appearance, with proper personal hygiene
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to listen effectively and communicate positively with team members, guests, and management
  • Maintain a friendly, upbeat, outgoing, and energetic personality always
  • Ability to manage several priorities simultaneously
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Must be reliable and conscientious
  • Must be accurate and detail-oriented
  • Must be flexible to constantly changing work environments, service positions, and outlet team structures
  • Must be able to adapt to Las Vegas weather, wind, rain, extreme heat, and extreme cold
  • Be able to stand on their feet for extended hours at a time
  • Ability to meet the company's production and quality standards
  • Must pass the knowledge and practical skills assessment

Nice To Haves

  • At least 2 years of experience as a bartender
  • Previous experience working with complex craft cocktails
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
  • Food Handlers/Health Card
  • Alcohol Awareness/TAM Card
  • Pour Card
  • Union Referral

Responsibilities

  • Creating memorable craft cocktails
  • Must be able to communicate with guests to meet their immediate needs.
  • Properly and promptly prepare, garnish, and serve drinks to guests.
  • Accurately rings up all orders in the POS system while maintaining the ability to socialize with guests
  • Strictly adheres to responsible alcohol service standards and can successfully "slow down a guest" or cut off an intoxicated guest when necessary
  • Responsible for practicing, supporting, and always promoting the company’s policies and procedures
  • Be able to make suggestions to guests based on guests' drink preferences
  • Know the drinks available and cost; be able to answer guests’ questions and work quickly and efficiently
  • Cleanliness of the bar and the surrounding area
  • Meet and exceed all SNHD health and safety standards
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
