About The Position
CentraCom is a proven provider of enterprise-grade networking, communications and connectivity services that address a wide variety of telecommunications technologies. Headquartered in Fairview, Utah, the company owns and operates a statewide fiber-optic network comprised of both metropolitan access networks and extensive coverage throughout rural Utah. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing internet services (fiber to the home, fixed wireless, and cable modem) in the Nephi - Santaquin, Utah area. The ideal candidate must reside in this area to ensure prompt response to troubles and emergencies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable in working indoors or outdoors
- Able to do work with minimum supervision
- Technical skills and knowledge of the telecommunications industry and installation
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Must live in the Nephi - Santaquin, Utah area
Nice To Haves
- An Associate/Bachelor's Degree in an electronics related field is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair internet services (fiber to the home, fixed wireless, and cable modem)
- Run new cabling into new or existing buildings
- Repair and maintain plant infrastructure
- Test and troubleshoot cable
- Be on-call some weeks
- Perform Blue Stakes locates
- Frequent interactions with customers
- Other duties as assigned
