The role may include ship deployments, port-to-port transfers, mid-deployment ship checks, sister-ship visits, and voyage repairs. Candidates must be U.S. citizens, have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, and hold or be able to obtain a passport. An active DoD Secret clearance is highly desired; candidates eligible to obtain and maintain one may be considered, with a contingent offer and start date after the clearance is fully adjudicated if they do not already hold an active clearance.
