About The Position

Seventh Dimension LLC is seeking a Combat Skills Medical Instructor to provide training and support services. The instructor will be responsible for delivering medical instruction and evaluations, managing training materials, preparing classrooms, and providing technical support. This role requires extensive military experience in medical services for deployed forces and the ability to instruct in challenging field conditions.

Requirements

Minimum of four (4) years of military experience in a military career field responsible for providing medical services to deployed forces (e.g., Independent Duty Medical Technician, Combat Medic, or U.S.N Corpsman with deployed experience supporting combat forces).
Prior military deployed experience in environments ranging from uncertain or hostile environments OR federal and/or state agency relevant experience in skills required to operate and survive in multiple environments.
Licensed paramedic (state or national), Medical Doctor (MD), Physician’s Assistant (PA), or Registered Nurse (RN).
Current (within the last 12 months) Army Military Occupational Specialty 68W, Health Care Specialist; or 18D, Special Operations Medical Sergeant.
Maintain a current and good standing certificate from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians or equivalent credentialing agency.
Capability to possess a firearm(s) pursuant to Title 18 U.S.C. 922 and annually submit a Department of Defense (DD) Form 2760.
Mental and physical capacity to instruct, qualify on, and maintain currency in the Air Force small arms qualification course of fire for handgun and rifle.
Current certifications from the American Heart Association or equivalent.
Capability to recognize signs and symptoms requiring first aid and perform basic first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and use an automated external defibrillator (AED).
Proof of current training on AED.
Valid state driver’s license and capability of driving government furnished vehicles.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
Associate degree or higher in any field of study.

Nice To Haves

Select individuals may qualify on Air Force crew served weapons depending on availability and need for the qualification.

Responsibilities

Move and use explosive training devices and other similar devices.
Attend AF training classes and receive a certificate of competency for use and movement of explosive training devices.
Transport students to and from training areas.
Attend and complete the USAF EOS instructional methods course, Academic Instructors Course, or appropriate substitute course.
Receive a Ft Dix range card and act/function as a Range Safety Officer (RSO).
Setup, use, issue, sign for, and inventory training devices/equipment.
Record instructional hours and comply with Community College of the Air Force accreditation policies/procedures.
Complete and document 180 hours of instruction within one year.
Undergo periodic instructor evaluations.
Complete an initial, customized training course within 60 days of hire.
Perform Medical instruction/demonstration and student evaluations.
Ensure the most current student education and training materials are used and provided.
Produce, assemble, and manage student materials.
Prepare classroom for instruction and ensure academic equipment is functional.
Begin each lesson on time and teach for the prescribed amount of time.
Provide technical support, planning, consultation, analysis, and expert advice.
Perform support/logistics functions related to instruction.
Comply with USAF EOS, Community College of the Air Force (CCAF), and USAF policies, regulations, and instructions.
