About The Position

The Division of General Surgery at Royal Columbian Hospital and the Fraser Heath are seeking an academically motivated and collaborative colorectal surgeon dedicated to shaping a nationally recognized center of excellence. Beyond providing outstanding clinical care, we seek a visionary leader with a growth mindset who will drive regional program expansion through research, quality improvement, and innovative models of care. Ultimately, the ideal candidate must be a passionate educator and mentor who champions a collegial, supportive environment for medical trainees while advancing the future of colorectal surgery. As a member of the Fraser Health medical staff, you will participate in the University of British Columbia (UBC) medical education program and are expected to apply for a clinical faculty appointment in the Division of General Surgery, UBC.

Requirements

Exceptional technical expertise in complex colorectal procedures, including rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulitis, minimally invasive surgery, and benign anorectal disease.

Responsibilities
