Color Matching Technician - 1st Shift

About The Position
The Color Technician is responsible for ensuring that bulk cosmetic batches accurately match the shade of reference standards. This role supports manufacturing operations and does not involve Research & Development activities.
Requirements
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and support multiple batches at the same time.
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years of cosmetic shade matching experience or 5+ years in related chemical or paint industry
- Ability to see color
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of basic math
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic understanding of GMP and ISO requirements
Responsibilities
- Batch shade matching lipstick, foundation, powders and other color cosmetics.
- Provide accurate review of batch color history and tracking of daily adjustments.
- Maintain color standards and renewals upon expiration.
- Make bench batches as necessary to support full scale batch shade matching, as well as rework shade investigation.
- Communicate with Manufacturing, Quality Control, R&D and customers as necessary.
