About The Position
Balise is looking for a Customer Service Support Rep & Intern Appraiser for our busy Collision Center. This role involves communicating and coordinating repair needs, updating customers and staff on vehicle repair status, and interacting daily with customers, appraisers, technicians, and managers. The position also requires tracking the production schedule and communicating it to customers and associates, maintaining industry education, and transporting vehicles.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience using Microsoft Word & Excel
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions
- Basic knowledge of vehicle repair practices
- Valid Driver’s license
- Ability to interpret work scope from vehicle estimates and work orders
Responsibilities
- Communicate and work within house & outside Insurance Appraisers
- Coordinate repair needs for Collision associates
- Update appropriate customer and staff with repair status of vehicles
- Daily interaction with customers, appraiser, technicians and managers
- Communicate processes to vehicle repair in a timely and effective manner to all customers
- Contact appropriate parties for delivery needs
- Track production schedule for vehicles and communicate those targets with customers and collision center associates
- Maintain continual industry education to keep up with changes in repair requirements and product knowledge
- Transport cars around the shop, as well as offsite at vendor locations
