About The Position

We are seeking an Appraiser to inspect, photograph and appraise damage to vehicles and other property damaged in an automobile accident or loss. This role involves analyzing damage, estimating repair costs using repair manuals and expertise, preparing insurance forms, and communicating with various stakeholders to ensure an efficient process.

Requirements

Appraisal License is required.
3-5 years of experience in handling auto physical damage appraisals.
Collision Center experience and/or familiarity with the field adjusters/insurance industries.
CCC Pathways and/or other electronic appraisal formats required.
A current valid driver’s license and insurability rating is required.
Good organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills and communication skills are required.

Nice To Haves

I-CAR certification preferred, but not required.
Bi-lingual preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Inspect, photograph, and appraise damage to vehicles and other property.
Analyze damage to the body, structure, mechanicals, electrical, or interior of vehicles.
Estimate parts and labor costs using repair manuals and knowledge.
Create insurance forms detailing repair cost estimates and recommendations.
Communicate with colleagues, technicians, customers, and vendors for efficient workflow.
Ensure open communication throughout the repair process.
