About The Position

The Collision Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles before delivery and maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities. The role includes vehicle pre-washing before repairs, interior and exterior cleanup after repairs, and transporting customer vehicles to sublet repair locations. The Porter also maintains housekeeping in office and production areas and keeps parking lots and grounds neat and orderly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to multitask.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Customer service abilities.
• Positive attitude.
• Trustworthy and reliable.
• Willingness to learn.
• Clear close vision required.
• Able to pull, push, and carry; walk and stand for extended periods; sit; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Able to operate a motor vehicle and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work near moving mechanical parts.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain daily housekeeping in the office, including emptying garbage cans, cleaning floors, and dusting countertops and work areas.
• Maintain daily housekeeping in the production area by emptying waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and returning tools and equipment to their proper locations.
• Keep parking lots and grounds neat and orderly, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
• Pre-wash customer vehicles before repairs begin.
• Clean the interior and exterior of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
• Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.
