Labor Content Specialists at Enlyte leverage their automotive collision industry experience to research, compile, analyze, and maintain technical data, graphics and documents critical to our products and services. This role offers automotive industry veterans the opportunity to develop specialized expertise while applying their industry knowledge. Labor Content Specialists are responsible for researching, authenticating, and re-authoring information found in OEM technical user manuals. They process OEM information and perform labor validation reports in the field to create information used as a basis for creating published labor allowances for Mitchell estimating products. Labor Content Specialists also research and respond to customer product inquiries and resolve customer concerns regarding Parts, Labor, or Estimatics issues.

Requirements

  • High school dergree or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrated experience in automotive repair and estimating.
  • Knowledge of vehicle construction and collision repair including welding and refinishing.
  • Familiarity with use of OEM technical service manuals and data sheets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat, and ability to learn new software and systems.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, data analysis, problem-solving, communication, customer service, teamwork, and time management.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, creativity, and problem-solving skills to resolve a variety of issues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and manage multiple tasks and priorities

Responsibilities

  • Research and assemble vehicle and repair information and enter relevant data for reference material and further processing.
  • Ensure data normalization. Perform support tasks in the planning, layout and preparation of artwork for inclusion in technical estimating products.
  • Review, authenticate and re-author information found in OEM technical user manuals, data sheets and specification books. Process OEM information and perform field labor time studies to generate information used as a basis for labor allowances developed using the Mitchell P-page logic format.
  • Produce technically accurate automotive collision repair labor allowances from OEM service information within an established productivity standard, using an electronic publishing system.
  • Research and respond to customer product inquiries. Resolve customer concerns regarding Parts, Labor, or Estimatics issues. This is a customer-facing role where Interpersonal skills and technical product knowledge and expertise are critical to responding to daily customer-centric activities.
