About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our collision team as a receptionist and supplemental Cashier. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support. This role will also involve handling cashier duties during peak times, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • Prior experience in customer service is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions, with basic math skills.
  • A professional appearance and manner
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to assist in various tasks as needed.
  • Knowledge of automotive terminology and dealership operations is a plus.
  • Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required based on dealership hours and business needs.
  • A clean driving record and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Greeting Customers: Welcome customers to the Collision Center in a friendly and professional manner. Provide assistance and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member.
  • Answering Inquiries: Respond to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries promptly and courteously. Provide information regarding dealership services and general inquiries.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Assist in scheduling and confirming of appointments.
  • Customer Assistance: Provide ongoing support and assistance to customers throughout their dealership experience. Address concerns, resolve issues, and escalate inquiries to management when necessary.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other dealership departments, including sales, service, and finance, to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
  • Cashier Duties: Process payments for vehicle purchases, service invoices, and other transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle cash, checks, credit card payments, and electronic transactions following dealership procedures. This will be a rotated position working one Saturday per month.
