About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Parts Employee to join our Collision Center team. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth, efficient parts operation and delivering excellent customer service to both internal staff and external vendors. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, be comfortable using digital tools for inventory tracking, and be physically able to move and transport parts carts within the indoor facility. Attention to detail and a team-oriented attitude are critical.

Requirements

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Some sales experience
• Professional personal appearance.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work on your feet for multiple hours a day

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years of experience in an automotive or heavy equipment parts department
• Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems
• Familiarity with CCC

Responsibilities

• Assist shop in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers.
• Receiving parts in our Body Shop indoor Parts Department.
• Checking to ensure all Parts have arrived and are accounted for on the shipping invoice.
• Checking off the arrival on the invoice.
• Notify the Estimator when special ordered parts have been received.
• Checking packaging and parts for physical damage.
• Updating production notes and repair plans to keep vehicles moving through the shop efficiently.
• Relocate parts to parts carts or storage bins.
• Identify part is correct for the part that's being replaced.
• Moving/rolling parts cart to various locations in our indoor facility.
• Monitor parts inventory using iPhone or laptop computer.
• Break down cardboard boxes for recycling.
