An established automotive dealership group in the Albuquerque area is seeking an experienced Collision Center Manager to lead and grow its collision repair operation. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on leader who understands collision production, estimating, workflow management, team development, and financial performance. Requirements

  • Previous experience in the automotive collision repair industry.
  • CCC ONE experience required.
  • Proven leadership or team management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of collision estimating, repair procedures, and supplements.
  • Understanding of insurance claims and repair authorization processes.
  • Experience managing production workflow and repair schedules.
  • Ability to monitor KPIs and improve productivity and profitability.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced collision repair environment.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Collision Center Manager or Body Shop Manager experience.
  • Dealership collision center experience.
  • Experience overseeing a high-volume collision operation.
  • CDK or Reynolds & Reynolds experience.
  • Strong financial and operational management background.
  • Experience recruiting, training, and developing collision repair teams.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operation and performance of the collision center, including production, staffing, estimating, repair quality, customer satisfaction, and financial results.
  • Direct daily collision center operations and production workflow.
  • Lead, coach, and develop estimators, technicians, and support staff.
  • Manage scheduling, cycle time, workload, and repair progress.
  • Review estimates, supplements, and repair orders for accuracy.
  • Monitor productivity, labor performance, profitability, and departmental KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, throughput, and revenue.
  • Maintain strong relationships with insurance companies, customers, vendors, and business partners.
  • Monitor CSI and ensure consistent customer communication.
  • Recruit, train, and retain qualified collision repair professionals.
  • Ensure repairs follow OEM procedures, manufacturer specifications, and safety standards.
  • Maintain quality control and accountability throughout the repair process.
  • Address operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable industry requirements.
