About The Position

Premier Truck Group is hiring a Collision Center Detailer to detail and clean new and used heavy trucks before final delivery to customers. The role also supports body shop repairs and estimating by pre-washing vehicles and identifying damage. The detailer visually inspects and documents vehicles, reports warning lights or damage, uses required safety equipment, follows hazardous-waste disposal requirements, and helps maintain service tools, equipment, and an organized work area. The position requires physical activity, including reaching, kneeling, bending, squatting, stooping, and lifting or carrying objects over 50 pounds. Other duties may be assigned by a manager or supervisor.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a detailer.
• Valid driver's license.

• Class A CDL.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly detail and clean new and used heavy trucks before final delivery to customers.
• Pre-wash vehicles before body shop repairs and during the estimating process to identify damage.
• Visually inspect and document each vehicle for flaws, and report warning lights or damage.
• Use required safety equipment, follow hazardous-waste disposal requirements, and participate in safety meetings.
• Maintain the proper function of service tools and equipment in the detail department.
• Keep the personal work area organized and return tools, materials, and equipment to designated areas.
• Perform physical tasks such as reaching below or above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, stooping, and lifting or carrying objects over 50 pounds.
• Perform other duties assigned by a manager or supervisor and remain adaptable.
