About The Position
Fred Martin Collision Center, a top-rated shop in the Greater Akron area, is looking for a high-level Collision Body Technician who knows how to move metal, diagnose damage, and turn hours. We run a busy shop with consistent work. If you’re tired of slow weeks, poor estimates, or shops that hold you back, this is where you step up. We don’t hire average. We hire producers. If you can move work, stay efficient, and want to get paid for it — we’ll keep you busy.
Requirements
- Collision experience across all makes & models
- Strong diagnostic ability — not just a parts changer
- Ability to produce in a flat-rate environment
- Team player who doesn’t slow the shop down
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Full teardown and accurate damage assessment
- Read and work directly from repair estimates — communicate supplements when needed
- Perform repairs to OEM, I-Car, and AllData standards
- Frame repair/replacement, welding, and structural work
- Plastic repair and full body work across all makes & models
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and move efficiently
