About The Position

The College Work Study Student will work at the CSN North Las Vegas Testing Center during Spring 2027. The office provides testing services to CSN students, out-of-state students, and community members. The student will proctor placement, CSN instructor, and other institution exams while maintaining the confidentiality of test content and results under FERPA. The role also includes responding to testing questions and general inquiries, performing clerical and filing tasks, cleaning office equipment and furniture, and assisting with campus events. Students who apply must have completed the current year's FAFSA and accepted the Student Employment Award in their financial aid package. Work is limited to up to 20 hours per week, at $14.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Complete the current year's FAFSA.
• Accept the Student Employment Award in the financial aid package.
• Submit a resume or curriculum vitae.
• Submit proof of receipt of the Student Employment Award.

Responsibilities

• Clean office furniture, computers, and other office areas and equipment.
• Participate in and assist with campus events.
• Perform additional assigned duties.
