About The Position

Envoy Air is seeking a college intern to support its Reliability Technical Services team. The paid 11-week summer internship provides practical experience in commercial aviation and an opportunity to build a professional network. The intern will assist Reliability Engineers in developing and automating reporting systems for aircraft data analytics. The role involves preparing and analyzing data, building dashboards, automating business processes, and configuring and testing Microsoft Copilot agents.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Be classified as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student upon starting the internship.
Have a minimum 3.0 grade point average.
Be able to present data to all levels of management.
Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
Be willing and able to travel.
Be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand English.
Follow data governance, access-control, privacy, security, and documentation standards when developing dashboards, automated workflows, SharePoint solutions, and Copilot agents.
Work effectively in a team, prioritize work and projects to meet deadlines and objectives, work with minimal supervision, report to work regularly and on time, and be self-motivated.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Microsoft Copilot.
Experience with data modeling, Power Query, DAX, APIs, SQL, or scripting.

Responsibilities

Analyze aircraft, systems, and departmental data from multiple sources; validate data quality; and prepare reliable datasets for reporting and automation.
Identify trends, develop actionable recommendations, and present departmental status and performance insights to technical and business stakeholders.
Build, publish, and maintain live Power BI dashboards integrating multiple data sources and showing current departmental, aircraft, and systems performance.
Map, streamline, and automate business processes and recurring reports using Microsoft Power Automate, SharePoint, and related Microsoft 365 tools; test solutions, document workflows, and measure efficiency gains.
Configure and test agents in Microsoft Copilot Pro using approved departmental knowledge sources; document agent instructions and use cases, evaluate response quality, and support user adoption.
Assist Reliability Engineers with the development and automation of reporting systems for aircraft data analytics.
