About The Position

The City of Hamilton is an EEO & AAE. Minorities and women are encouraged to apply. This position involves intern-level for Neighborhoods under the umbrella of Resident Services. Intern will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of projects/events/programs for the City of Hamilton and 17STRONG, especially related to community development and engagement. The intern will work with Neighborhoods as well as other City Departments that would benefit from her knowledge, interest and expertise.

Requirements

• Must be at least 19 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver's license [Will be verified for finalists]

• At least 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Working in our 17 neighborhoods with cleanups, programs, projects or events
• Supporting the needs of the 17STRONG committees
• Developing content for 17STRONG Facebook, event flyers, and microgrant projects taking place during their internship
• Flexible work schedule to include evening and weekend 17STRONG events
• Driving the 17STRONG truck and Cube to 17STRONG events (training provided)
