The student intern will work daily scheduled hours based on the department’s needs, with a minimum requirement of 15 hours and up to 26 hours per week maximum.

Requirements

  • Strong writing, editing and organizational skills
  • An interest in communications or public relations
  • College level coursework (100+) from an accredited institution will be evaluated on an individual basis according to the skill/level to determine if applicable to the position by management

Responsibilities

  • Creating the daily media coverage newsletter
  • Developing key performance reports
  • Supporting the creation of video and photo packages
  • Pitching media opportunities
  • Drafting media materials
  • Opportunity to work with other teams within the Integrated Communications department and to network within SRP
