About The Position

SHP Legal Services is a subsidiary of LSS Strategic Partners, an A&M Inc. company. SHP improves how law firms operate by providing business and legal operations, leadership advisory, connections to a global network of strategic partners, and access to capital. We're looking for a motivated college student to join our team as a Business Analyst Intern, supporting our procurement processes and general administrative operations. The Business Analyst Intern will support SHP Legal Services' day-to-day business operations with a focus on procurement and administrative functions. This role is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field who wants hands-on experience in a fast-paced, tech-enabled professional services environment.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (Business, Finance, Operations, or related major preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Outlook and the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and asking questions when needed

Nice To Haves

  • Prior internship or administrative experience a plus, but not required
  • Interest in the legal or professional services/technology industry a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist with sourcing, comparing, and requesting quotes from vendors and suppliers
  • Help track purchase orders, invoices, and vendor contracts
  • Maintain and update vendor and supplier records
  • Support the procurement team in evaluating cost-saving opportunities
  • Help ensure procurement activities align with company policies and budgets
  • Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and document preparation
  • Organize and maintain digital and physical files/records
  • Support onboarding of new vendors or internal processes as needed
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations for leadership review
  • Provide general office and operational support as needed
  • Collect, organize, and analyze operational and procurement data
  • Assist in identifying process improvements and efficiencies
  • Support the creation of dashboards, trackers, or spreadsheets to monitor key metrics
  • Help document workflows and standard operating procedures
  • Contribute to special projects as assigned
