About The Position
Sports Info Solutions (SIS) is seeking motivated candidates to serve as scouts for home games played by collegiate basketball teams. This role involves scouting games from the arena using SIS's proprietary software. The scheduling is flexible, accommodating your availability and game schedules. SIS provides a game ticket and parking pass (if applicable). This is primarily a part-time position with a pay-per-game structure, offering potential for career growth within SIS. SIS is a leader in collecting, analyzing, and distributing deep data sets and insights to professional sports teams across MLB, NBA, and NFL, and is advancing its data, technology, and insights to drive future innovations in Sports Data and Analytics.
Requirements
- Reliability, punctuality, and willingness to communicate.
- Ability to understand and identify basketball concepts.
- Access to and ability to operate a smartphone.
- Transportation to the stadium.
- Capable of quickly and accurately identifying information for the duration of a basketball game.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
