About The Position
Sports Info Solutions (SIS) is a pioneer in the sports data industry, founded on the belief that data, analytics, and technology can improve decision-making and help teams win more games. Since 2002, SIS has been revolutionizing the sports data landscape. Our mission is to enrich and optimize the decision-making process for sports teams, sportsbooks, and sports fans. We are a leader in collecting, analyzing, and distributing deep data sets and insights to professional sports teams across MLB, NBA, and NFL. We are expanding our efforts by advancing our data, technology, insights, and partnerships to drive future innovations in Sports Data and Analytics. This position involves scouting home games of collegiate basketball teams. It is important to note that this role is NOT affiliated with collegiate basketball teams. Scouts will use Sports Info Solutions’ proprietary software to scout games from the arena. The scheduling is flexible, accommodating scout availability and game schedules. SIS will provide a game ticket and a parking pass (if applicable). This is a part-time, pay-per-game position with the potential for career growth within SIS. We are seeking motivated individuals looking to build a career in the sports industry.
Requirements
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Willingness to communicate.
- Ability to understand and identify basketball concepts.
- Access to and ability to operate a smartphone.
- Transportation to the stadium.
- Capability to quickly and accurately identify information for the duration of a basketball game.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
