Join the Advanced Structures and Materials Initiative (ASMI) for a Summer 2027 internship and help shape the future of engineering automation at Gulfstream. The group develops innovative tools and methodologies that improve engineering efficiency, consistency, and design quality across aircraft structural disciplines. This internship is focused on the development of automated engineering tools that capture and implement design requirements, engineering knowledge, industry best practices, and established processes into software solutions. These tools support engineers throughout the aircraft design and development lifecycle by reducing repetitive tasks, improving data consistency, and enabling more efficient decision making. As a College Associate Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers and software developers to design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions. Projects may include creating engineering applications, developing CAD/CATIA automation workflows, building data processing pipelines, integrating engineering databases, and enhancing existing design tools used throughout Gulfstream Engineering. The ideal candidate has a strong programming background, enjoys solving complex technical problems, and is interested in applying computer science principles to aerospace engineering challenges. Interns will gain hands-on experience developing software that directly impacts aircraft design and engineering productivity.
