College Aide
About The Position
The New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) invests in a network of community-based organizations and programs to alleviate the effects of poverty and to provide opportunities for New Yorkers and communities to flourish. Under the direction of the Assistant Deputy Agency Chief Contracting Officer (ADACCO), the Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) is seeking to hire a College aide who will be responsible for interacting with providers and the community in regards to processing procurements. The individual will also be responsible for processing contracts for services.
Requirements
- Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school. Employment is conditioned upon continuance as a student in a college or graduate school.
- Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school. Employment is conditioned upon continuance as a student in a college or graduate school with a specific course of study in information technology, computer science, management information systems, data processing, or closely related field, including or supplemented by 9 semester credits in an acceptable course of study.
- Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school. Employment is conditioned upon continuance as a student in a college or graduate school with a specific course of study in information technology, computer science, management information systems, data processing, or other area relevant to the information technology project(s) assigned, including or supplemented by 9 semester credits in an acceptable course of study.
Responsibilities
- Collects and prepares documentation for investigations of vendors
- Coordinates with other DYCD Program units on the preparation, distribution and collection of contract and procurement documents.
- Review procurement documents verifying descriptions & specifications for accuracy & adequacy ensuring conformity & oversight compliance
- Entering and retrieving data from automatic information systems, specifically PASSPort, FMS, APT, HHS Accelerator
- Utilize DYCD’s internal system CCMS/ECMS/CMS for contract monitoring
- Maintain and update procurement status reports in excel
- Assists the Assistant DACCO with evaluator trainings and assists with the review of evaluator comments during RFP reconciliation meetings
