Requirements

  • Customer service, banking, collections, retail, hospitality, call center, or related experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to navigate multiple systems and manage competing priorities.
  • Confidence handling difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Basic computer and typing proficiency.
  • A positive attitude and desire to learn and grow.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two to four years of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

  • Good knowledge of concepts, practices, policies and procedures of banking products and services
  • Effective telephone and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to handle difficult customer calls
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to identify and resolve/escalate problems
  • Good time management skills to maximize the number of clients that can be assisted while maintaining a high level of customer service

Responsibilities

  • Connect with customers regarding payment obligations, account status, invoices, and contractual agreements.
  • Educate customers on available options and help identify appropriate solutions.
  • Manage a high volume of outbound communications while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
  • Handle inbound customer inquiries and provide timely follow-up.
  • Document customer interactions and maintain accurate account information.
  • Partner with customer service, operations, and other business teams to deliver the best possible customer experience.
  • Balance productivity, quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
