About The Position

Axos is seeking a Collector who will be responsible for determining the reason for customer payment delinquency and obtaining payment commitments while adhering to laws and regulations.

Requirements

• HS Diploma
• 1-2 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, consumer loans, commercial loans and/or real estate
• Bilingual (Spanish Speaker)

Responsibilities

• Place routine calls to customers as the first point of contact to obtain payment for goods or services.
• Recognize calls requiring special handling or customized responses and escalating accordingly.
• Use a computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate and thorough records of customer payment history and status of account.
• Receive clear communication including feedback, coaching, individual needs assessment, and training gaps, including regular, one-on-one performance reviews to ensure performance and quality standards are being met.
• Ensure collection practices adhere to policies, regulations, and standards.
