About The Position
Axos is seeking a Collector who will be responsible for determining the reason for customer payment delinquency and obtaining payment commitment while adhering to laws and regulations.
Requirements
- HS Diploma
- 1-2 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, consumer loans, commercial loans and/or real estate
Responsibilities
- Place routine calls to customers as first point of contact to obtain payment for goods or services
- Recognize calls requiring special handling or customized responses and escalating accordingly
- Use computerized system for tracking, information gathering and troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of customer payment history and status of account
- Receive clear communication including feedback, coaching, individual needs assessment, and training gaps, including regular, one-on-one performance reviews to ensure performance ad quality standards are being met
- Ensure collection practices adhere to policies, regulations and standards
