About The Position

This role operates in a call-center environment, managing inbound and outbound calls to verify debtor employment and locate individuals associated with delinquent accounts. The position is fully onsite in San Antonio, TX.

Requirements

• Experience in interacting with consumers/members/debtors via phone and dialer.
• Professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Reliable, punctual, and consistent attendance.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Good oral communication skills.
• 1-2 years of computer experience.
• Organizational skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual skills is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Determine the most effective recovery method by skip tracing and locating debtors, including identifying employment, earnings, liabilities, assets, and ability to pay.
• Review delinquent accounts deemed uncollectable and ensure all reasonable recovery efforts have been exhausted before escalation.
• Use skip tracing tools such as TLOxp, LexisNexis, People Finder, etc.
• Utilize dialers (ACD systems) and CRM/collections platform (GUI/Quantrax).
• Engage in payment negotiation and apply customer service and compliance knowledge.
• Collaborate with agents and internal teams to coordinate skip tracing and recovery strategies.
• Update contact information for the collections team, and upon finding contact information, either turn over to a Full-Cycle Collector and continue engagement.
