Under immediate (Collections Systems Technician I) or general (Collections Systems Technician II) supervision, performs a wide variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, construction, and repair work of sewers, pump stations, streets, maintenance holes, collection pipelines, storm drains, drainage channels, access roads, and related public works facilities. This role involves operating and maintaining light and moderately heavy power-driven equipment, installing and repairing underground sewer pipes, and removing blockages from sewer and storm drain lines. The Collections Systems Technician II may provide technical and functional supervision and training to lower-level staff.
