About The Position

The Collections Supervisor leads a team of 12–15 collection agents, driving performance improvement, accountability, and achievement of portfolio goals. This role requires advanced collections knowledge, strong negotiation skills, and a talent for coaching team members while collaborating across departments to deliver results and support the financial well-being of customers. In the Role Review metrics, call quality, and provide feedback for continuous improvement and goal attainment. Facilitate training, direction, and administer corrective actions as needed. Negotiate with customers to resolve delinquency and ensure compliance. Meet production indicators and performance targets in a goal-driven environment. Address collections servicing requirements across accounts and recommend strategies for capacity planning. Collaborate with Risk Operations and participate in recruiting and retention efforts.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma / GED required.
  • Advanced understanding of collections and strong negotiation skills.
  • Experience resolving escalated calls.
  • Proven ability to coach, develop, and lead collectors.
  • Effective self-management and workflow prioritization.
  • Skills in interpreting procedures to determine best resolutions.

Nice To Haves

  • 5–7 years of supervisory experience in a collections environment.
