About The Position

ARMStrong Insurance Services is a leading debt recovery and financial solutions provider with decades of experience serving businesses across various industries. As the parent company, ARMStrong owns and operates Brown & Joseph, Paragon, NEIS, and SubroIQ, each specializing in debt management and financial services. Paragon is seeking a Recovery Specialist to join their growing team. The role involves making follow-up phone calls on invoices, answering questions, and solving problems to secure payment. This position requires extensive phone communication and some email correspondence to follow up on outstanding balances from policyholders. The Recovery Specialist also focuses on customer service by addressing issues and inquiries related to current or past billings.

Requirements

• Self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced atmosphere
• Ability to problem solve
• Computer Skills / Ability to keyboard 45 words per minute
• Excellent English communication/telephone competencies
• Strong interpersonal skills with great organization

Nice To Haves

• Telephone expertise in collections or customer service preferred but not required
• Background in insurance industry is a plus but not required
• Bilingual a huge plus!

Responsibilities

• Perform follow-up phone calls on invoices, answering questions and solving problems to secure payment.
• Make heavy use of phone calls and some emails to follow up on balances due from policyholders.
• Focus on customer services by problem solving and answering questions on current or past billings.
• Electronically review insurance policies and claims to identify balances due from policyholders.
• Perform daily problem solving on previously billed invoices and support the internal recovery department.
