About The Position

Incumbents are responsible for performing semi-skilled work to inspect, clean, maintain, and operate the collections system which includes pipelines, manholes, and lift stations. Incumbents keep records utilizing a computerized maintenance management system. Incumbents inspect, clean, and maintain the stormwater system and components. This is the entry level of the Collections Operator series.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, or G.E.D.
• One year of relevant wastewater collection system experience.
• Valid Arizona Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class B or higher with a tanker endorsement.
• Arizona State Grade 1 Wastewater Collection System Operator Certification.

Nice To Haves

• Pipe Assessment Certification Program (PACP), Lateral Assessment Certification Program (LACP), and Manhole Assessment Certification Program (MACP) from National Association of National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO) within 12 months of hire date.
