About The Position

Summary: Are you a data-driven problem solver who thrives on building dashboards and turning insights into action? PRA Group is hiring a Collections Operations Analyst to join our Agency Management team – a function that works closely with senior leaders and third-party collection agencies to drive strategy, performance, and results across the collections space. This isn’t just another reporting job. You’ll own the entire reporting lifecycle, from writing SQL queries and building dashboards in Power BI, to forecasting performance and uncovering insights that help drive collections strategy and agency performance. Important: To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in collections, recovery management, or related financial operations
• Advanced Power BI and SQL skills—able to build dashboards and data models from scratch
• Strong understanding of collections metrics, inventory flow, and performance levers
• Comfortable working independently and engaging with senior leadership
• Detail-oriented, resourceful, and energized by process improvement and performance analytics

Nice To Haves

• Background in agency management, workforce planning, or credit operations is a plus

Responsibilities

• Designing and building dashboards in Power BI from scratch
• Writing advanced SQL queries to extract, clean, and model data
• Forecasting performance, inventory flow, and resource needs across collections portfolios
• Analyzing operational trends and recommending improvements in agency performance
• Partnering with senior leadership and third-party agencies on collections strategy
• Automating reporting and creating scalable analytics tools
• Presenting insights and training teams on new reporting tools
