About The Position

As a Vendor Management Analyst I within Card Collections Litigation, you represent Chase in litigation proceedings that may include depositions, trials, mediations, arbitrations, and other hearings. You prepare case materials in advance, collaborate closely with business and legal partners, and ensure responsibilities and deadlines are clearly established. You provide testimony remotely or in person with accuracy, professionalism, and composure. You bring independent judgment, strong communication skills, and a control-minded approach to every appearance. This position requires flexibility for scheduling changes and periodic travel for in-person appearances. You will work across multiple stakeholders and timelines, balancing urgency with precision and risk awareness. Success requires the ability to learn and follow procedures, stay objective, and communicate complex information clearly in high-stakes environments. You will be trusted to identify issues early, escalate appropriately, and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Three years of experience in collections, process management, or financial services operations
  • Experience supporting litigation processes and/or serving as a witness, with strong attention to detail for accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and de-escalate issues in a professional manner
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including interpreting complex information and drawing logical conclusions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting information clearly and persuasively
  • Proven time management skills and ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple priorities independently
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain objectivity in high-stakes settings
  • Flexibility to adjust work hours to meet business needs and real-time disruptions
  • Strong public speaking skills and confidence communicating in formal hearing or courtroom-style environments

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and organize materials required for litigation appearances and testimony
  • Partner with business stakeholders and internal/external legal teams to define responsibilities, timelines, and deliverables
  • Represent Chase in remote and in-person litigation proceedings, delivering clear, concise, and accurate testimony
  • Apply technical and functional knowledge to make independent decisions and recommendations with minimal oversight
  • Escalate case issues, risks, and blockers to management and legal partners in a timely manner
  • Follow the department’s risk and control expectations, including documentation and adherence to procedures
  • Identify and escalate system or process issues and improvement opportunities
  • Serve as a subject matter resource on applicable Chase procedures and processes used to support testimony
  • Coordinate personal travel for in-person appearances and comply with travel and expense policies
  • Maintain professionalism and composure while working in high-pressure environments
