About The Position

WasteFree is hiring a part-time Trash Collection Specialist in Grand Prairie to collect household trash and recycling from residential units in assigned multi-family communities. The role offers evening shifts from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday, and pays $20 per hour. Employees work mostly autonomously and receive hands-on training. The position requires using a personal pickup truck for trash collection and includes documenting service conditions and violations through the company’s app and work logs. Requirements

Own a pickup truck and be willing to use it for trash collection.
Have a valid state-issued driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
Have a smartphone with a data plan.
Be currently employed full-time.
Be willing to learn, receptive to coaching, and able to follow instructions.
Be punctual and dependable, with a strong work ethic.
Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Have excellent verbal communication skills.
Be able to work in all weather conditions.
Be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, navigating stairs, and walking distances.
Have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Upon arrival, document the condition of dumpsters and compactors using the Service App.
Collect household trash and recycling from residential units within assigned multi-family communities.
Document violations and unit numbers by taking photos and submitting them with the Work Log at the end of each shift.
Track and report issues or concerns to the district manager.
