About The Position

Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned collection accounts requiring advanced knowledge of accounts receivable management and collection process. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• One year experience in physician office and coding experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Medical terminology or medical billing certificate from college or technical school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service regarding collection issues, account analysis, resolution of client discrepancies.
• Enlists efforts of senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process.
• Communicates and follows up with customer accounts on a timely basis.
• Establishes and maintains effective and cooperative working relationship with collection agency.
• Reconciles collection agency accounts and payments.
• Meets defined department goals.
• Performs other assigned tasks and duties as necessary to support the accounts receivable department.
