Requirements

Proven experience in a collections or sales role, preferably within a financial or lending institution.
Strong working knowledge of collection laws, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to de-escalate difficult situations.
Ability to handle challenging customer interactions with empathy and professionalism.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and using a dialer system and multiple computer applications.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework in finance or a related field preferred).
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a strong work ethic.
Collections: 2 years (Required)

Responsibilities

Manage and prioritize collections activities to ensure timely payments and resolution of outstanding accounts.
Work daily from an automated dialer system to contact customers and efficiently manage call volume.
Utilize strong negotiation skills to communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding payment arrangements.
Maintain accurate records of collection efforts and update account information in internal systems and financial software.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account discrepancies and provide a positive customer experience.
Ensure compliance with all collection laws, regulations, and company policies during customer interactions.
