Collaborative Pianist
About The Position
Downers Grove North is seeking a Collaborative Pianist for the 2026-2027 school year. The Collaborative Pianist will work closely with our choral music team, providing daily piano accompaniment and support during rehearsals for our four curricular choirs. Other duties will include working with individual students and small groups, assisting with music program administrative tasks such as music library organization, and providing piano accompaniment for special events. A degree in Piano Performance and/or Music Education is preferred. Additional responsibilities include organizational tasks such as managing attendance, maintaining records, coordinating piano tuning and maintenance, and editing/creating parts as needed using music notation software. Strong piano skills, experience with high school singers, and the ability to lead rehearsals or small ensembles are essential.
