About The Position
Upperline Health is seeking a Collaborative Physician to provide clinical oversight and partnership for their Florida-based Nurse Practitioners. This role offers a flexible, part-time schedule ideal for a physician passionate about mentoring, quality improvement, and advancing value-based healthcare. Requirements
- MD or DO with an active, unrestricted Florida medical license.
- Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in primary care or chronic disease management.
- Prior experience collaborating with or supervising Nurse Practitioners.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Knowledge of state-specific collaborative practice regulations.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a commitment to team-based, value-driven care.
Nice To Haves
- Additional state licensure is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the collaborating physician for Upperline Health Nurse Practitioners in Florida in accordance with state Medical Board requirements.
- Provide clinical consultation, guidance, and support to NPs on patient care and complex treatment plans.
- Conduct chart reviews and periodic assessments of NP documentation to ensure compliance, quality, and alignment with Upperline protocols and state regulations.
- Participate in scheduled meetings with NPs as required by state law and company policy.
- Be available for timely communication and collaboration via phone, secure messaging, or virtual meetings.
- Support NP onboarding, education, and clinical development, fostering consistency in care delivery.
- Partner with regional and operational leaders to ensure regulatory compliance and clinical excellence.
