About The Position

Pavago is seeking a Cold Email Outreach Specialist for one of its clients. This is a full-time, remote position focused on generating qualified sales opportunities through strategic outbound email campaigns. The role requires a hands-on, performance-driven individual to manage the entire cold email process, including prospect list building, personalized outreach, deliverability management, campaign optimization, and lead qualification. Success depends on a blend of strong copywriting, technical deliverability knowledge, and a data-driven approach to consistently feed the sales team with qualified leads. This role is ideal for someone passionate about outbound prospecting, enjoys message experimentation, and understands how to ensure emails reach inboxes rather than spam folders.

Requirements

  • 1–2+ years of experience in Cold Email Outreach, Outbound Lead Generation, Sales Development (SDR), or Outbound Marketing.
  • Hands-on experience with Apollo, Instantly, Lemlist, Smartlead, Woodpecker, or similar outreach platforms.
  • Experience writing cold email campaigns.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
  • Excellent written English communication.

  • Experience managing large-scale email deliverability.
  • Understanding of DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC.
  • Experience supporting B2B SaaS, agencies, or service businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Build highly targeted prospect lists using platforms like Apollo, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Crunchbase, segmenting by industry, company size, job title, geography, and Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
  • Verify and clean contact data using tools such as NeverBounce, ZeroBounce, and Clearout.
  • Maintain organized prospect databases and outreach lists.
  • Write personalized cold email copy, subject lines, and calls-to-action.
  • Build and launch multi-step outbound sequences (4–8 touchpoints).
  • Personalize messaging using company and prospect research.
  • Monitor campaign performance daily and continuously optimize based on engagement and reply metrics.
  • Manage inbox reputation using platforms like Instantly, Lemlist, Smartlead, and Mailwarm, monitoring bounce rates, spam scores, and sender reputation.
  • Rotate sending domains and inboxes to maximize deliverability.
  • Identify and resolve deliverability issues proactively.
  • Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, messaging, CTAs, and send times.
  • Track key metrics including open rates, positive reply rates, bounce rates, and conversion rates.
  • Prepare campaign performance reports and recommend improvements.
  • Document testing results and optimization history.
  • Review campaign replies and categorize responses accurately.
  • Identify qualified prospects and route them to the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records using platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce, and Zoho CRM.
  • Ensure outreach data remains organized and up to date.
  • Ensure campaigns comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA regulations.
  • Maintain suppression and unsubscribe lists.
  • Follow outbound email best practices to protect sender reputation.
