About The Position

The Coin Operator is responsible for ensuring the quality of product processed, using proper shipping dunnage for packaging, communicating part quality concerns to production and/or quality supervision, and containment of suspect/nonconforming product. This role involves the inspection of product per Control Plan requirements, packaging of product in customer-approved dunnage, and recording production data along with creating bar code labels for product traceability. The operator is authorized to shut down processes producing discrepant material, and is responsible for the disposal and recording of dispositioned scrap. They must complete job-specific check sheets to demonstrate compliance with visual and dimensional specifications, properly operate the coin press ensuring associate safety and part quality, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
