About The Position

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This person must be able to set up and operate winders and perform assembly work as required. These functions will include winding of all coils, prepping, robotic welding, dip/bake and assembly as needed. Cross training/rotation on welding, winding, and prepping within the department is required on a regular basis. The person must be willing to work in other areas of the Industrial Equipment Division when necessary. Position requires ordering material and scheduling orders. Candidate will be responsible for all aspects of machine operation and must be a self-starter and team player!

Requirements

  • Ability to read and understand schematics and assembly instructions
  • Proficiency in basic computer use and comprehension of company policies, safety directives, and work instructions
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, decimals, and fractions
  • Familiarity with basic computer operations, including entering production numbers into databases or Excel spreadsheets
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours)
  • Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs continuously
  • Handle wire spools weighing between 80-160 lbs
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules up to 57 hours per week, Monday through Saturday
  • Ability to interpret bill of materials, process routings, layout drawings, and magnetics manufacturing diagrams
  • Aptitude to memorize sequential steps of repetitive processes
  • Proficiency in using computers, small hand and pneumatic tools, scales, calculators, and rulers
