About The Position

This role involves selecting required insulation and other materials listed on the Bill of Material for each coil winding. The position also includes identifying, inspecting, and preparing coil windings for the drying oven. After the drying cycle, the employee will measure coil height, unhook hydraulics, and remove coils from the oven. Moving coil windings with a pallet jack, fork-lift, or overhead crane with a lift device is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • Ability to work within the WEG Code of Ethics & Values.
  • Able to work over-time as needed.
  • Resides or plans to reside within reasonable commuting distance - no relocation assistance available.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in basic English (if applicable for role).
  • Has current work authorization for employment in the United States.
  • Must complete: application, talent assessment, Job interview, pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Safety Sensitive position: Drug panel includes THC.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years prior manufacturing experience
  • ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certification (NCRC): Platinum or Gold Level
